Taurus 245 rubber process oils are used to improve processibility during mixing milling and extruding to modify the physical properties of the vulcanizate. TAURUS 245 also reduces the cost of the rubber mix. TAURUS 245 is predominantly paraffinic type oil and has good color stability. It also has high flash point and good high temperature properties, but it has low solvency. It finds greatest use in butyl and ethylene propylene rubbers.

Applications

TAURUS 245 is recommended in the manufacture of walled tyres, shoe soles, toys, sporting goods and other dark colored rubber goods such as battery casing, rubber bushes etc.
